Grade Master

Grade master is used to categorise employees holding predefined positions into logical groups. Grades are assigned to employees through the Organisation Master. If an organisation has grade wise pay structure, then values of the earning heads for all the applicable grades have to be defined through Grade-wise head values.

Code: Enter a short name for the grade.

Description: Provide a description for the grade.

Belongs To: If there are sub-groups within a grade, the sub-group has to be tagged to a grade through belongs to. At the time of creating a grade which has no further sub-groups or grades, this has to be blank.

Grade is assigned to employees in the Organisation Master.
