Occupations of prospects can be defined in 'Occupation' interface.

Creating Occupation

Code: Enter code name of the occupation (Mandatory)

Description: Enter descriptive name of the occupation (Mandatory)

There are some generic or system defined occupations.

Already created 'Occupations' can be searched by their code from 'Code' drop down list as shown below. If any of them matches with the requirement then there is no need to create new. Otherwise new 'Location' is to be created as per the requirement of the organization.
