Creating Product GroupDifferent products can be grouped based on a similar purpose or characteristics. Those groups are to be defined in 'Product Group' interface.

Creating Product Group
User is also able to create their own 'Product Group' as per the requirement of the organization as shown in the figure below.
Code: Enter code name of the product group (Mandatory)
Description: Enter descriptive name of the product group (Mandatory)
There are some generic or system defined Product Groups. Already created 'Product Group' can be searched by their code from 'Code' drop down list as shown below. If any of them matches with the requirement then there is no need to create new. Otherwise new 'Product Group' is to be created as per the requirement of the organization.
